Gilfert Family
Military History
This site
is dedicated to all those from my family tree who have served and
are presently serving in the military. During times of war and also
peacetime service. Both sides of my family history are represented
here. My father's side; Gilfert and Olson (Ludlow, PA) and my mother's
side; Frampton and Shobert (Brookville, PA) with all the known cousins
also.
A special dedication is to my father Private John Lyman Gilfert,
U.S. Army, 1953-1955. My father served in Todendorf, Germany as
well as several bases here in the states. The picture on the right
is of my father on guard duty at Todendorf.
Any family wishing to help me with pictures and information I would
gladly appreciate it.
