First National Bank of Eldred
A.R. Sloan started the first bank in Eldred in January 1883. This bank would be robbed in September 1884 of $2,500. The First National Bank of Eldred established in 1909. The bank was robbed of $5,000 on May 4, 1939. All the bandits were eventually caught, however, one was gunned down by FBI agents. |
